We source the freshest produce from locally grown suppliers who don't use commercial-type processes to grow and deliver the food to you. Sustainability and tracing of our produce is key to Afrobox and the ethos of the business.

Local Farm in Ghana

Meet Raul and his family who run a small farm located in a place called Kwabenya, in Accra, Ghana.

They produce Cassava, Passion Fruits, Guavas and Maize that is used to provide livelihood and a small income to their family

Passion Fruit

This is Johnson, the son of Raul the Farmer. Here he is marvelling in the passion fruit tree. Look at his beaming smile.

Cassava Plantation

Here is John attending to his Cassava crop. Cassava is a tuber that grows underground and can be boiled, ground into flour. Some of you may know something called Gari.

Tarro Leaf

Taro leaves are the heart-shaped leaves of the taro plant (Colocasia esculenta), commonly grown in subtropical and tropical regions. While generally known for its edible, starchy root, the leaves of the taro plant also serve as a staple food in various cuisines it has a taste like spinach.
